Cooling off the boys of summer in Hayden

Photo courtesy JESSE MYERS A truck from the Northern Lakes Fire District showed up after practice to hose down members of the Hayden 10U all-star baseball team after practice Friday at Croffoot Park. Saturday's recorded high at Cliff Harris' weather station in Coeur d'Alene was 97 degrees, a record high for June 26. The previous record high for that date was 95 degrees, set in 1925.
