Carol Shubert, 78

Carol Shubert peacefully passed away in the presence of her brother and sisters on the evening of May 31, 2021, at Hospice House in Hayden after suffering a stroke. She was a resident of the Orchard on the Ridge Senior Living Apartment Complex in Coeur d’ Alene. Carol worked many years at and was retired from Cold Water Creek. She was born to Gene and Helen Shubert in the old Wardner Hospital in Kellogg on Aug. 13, 1943. Carol attended school in Kingston, Pinehurst and was a graduate of Kellogg High School in the class of 1961. Carol is survived by one brother, Jim (Sue) Shubert of St. Maries, sisters Marie (Mike) Shadduck of Post Falls, and sister Katie (Stan) Burge of Rathdrum, her beloved Aunt Pat Hopper of Ross Gulch on Pine Creek, one granddaughter Erinn Stinson of Oak Harbor, Wash. and five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her close family and colleagues at “Cold Water Creek and Orchard on the Ridge Apartment Complex.

Carol was preceded in death by: her son Eric Teige, brother Phillip Shubert, and Parents Gene Shubert and Helen Hamel.

An informal Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at her sister Marie Shadduck’s residence on Idaho Road in Post Falls.
