Gabriel Casper, 20

Gabriel Robert Casper, a.k.a. “Gabe Dog,” passed away at 20 years young. Gabe was born on May 9, 2001, and passed away May 31, 2021.

Gabe grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and went to Coeur d’Alene High School and Kootenai Bridge Academy. He graduated and received his diploma from Kootenai Bridge Academy.

Gabe was known by his friends and family for having a big heart. He always stood up for those who could not. He was also known as the big brother to his friends with unconditional love and loyalty. Gabe will be severely missed and never forgotten.

Gabe enjoyed fishing, camping, riding dirt bikes and side by sides, playing Xbox with his buddies and hanging out with his little brother.

Gabe is lovingly remembered by his parents, Ginger Ostrowski and Jesse (and Amanda) Casper; grandparents, Robert and Sue Ostrowski, and his brother, Myles Casper, all of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Funeral service for Gabriel will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 14, at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
