ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CARLIN BAY TRANSMISSION MAIN FOR CARLIN BAY PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION KOOTENAI COUNTY, IDAHO Separate sealed Bids for the CARLIN BAY TRANSMISSION MAIN will be received by the Carlin Bay Property Owners Association c/o Welch, Comer & Associates, Inc. at their office located at 330 E. Lakeside Avenue, Suite 101 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, until 2:00 p.m. (Local Time), on Thursday June 24, 2021, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. All interested individuals are welcome to attend. Base Bid: The base project consists of the installation of approximately 1,900 ft of 6-inch C900 raw water transmission. All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract documents. All work will be completed within existing utility easements and Carlin Bay Property Owners Association right of way. Add Alternate 1: Directional drilling approximately 110 ft of 8" HDPE casing pipe under Highway 97, then sliplining the casing pipe with 6" HDPE waterline. All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract documents and ITD encroachment permitting requirements. Add Alternate 2: Complete two tie-ins between the new raw water transmission piping and the existing 5" steel raw water transmission per the project plans.
