Frank Quinn, 72

Frank Quinn went home to our lord May 30, 2021, after a long struggle of COPD while traveling in Whitefish, Mont.

He was born Dec. 2, 1949, in Redding, Calif., to William Matthew Quinn III and Zita Regina Derra Quinn.

He was the fifth born of 11 children. His young childhood was spent in Central Valley, Calif. and Woodland, Calif., Frank graduated from Woodland High School, Class of 1967.

Frank drove trucks for many years until he moved to Red Bluff, Calif., where he began ranching. Frank and his family moved to Athol, Idaho, in 1996 where he devoted 25 years of service to Sunshine Minting. He enjoyed his career of government coin production at Sunshine Minting. Frank was successful in many of the positions he held and enjoyed working with the people there.

He loved living in Idaho, where spent many hours working on his property and home. Frank enjoyed working in the yard, carpentry, hunting, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Frank attended St. George Catholic Church in Post Falls, Idaho. He loved the lord and shared God’s word with those he came in contact with.

He was survived by the love of his life, Tammy Quinn and his children Crystal Armijo Vickers, Angela Hoyt, Kristin Quinn and Seth Quinn. Frank had numerous grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held for Frank at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 10 at St. George’s Catholic Church in Post Falls. A reception will follow services at the church.
