Outdoors program offered in Montana

Outdoor education programs are scheduled this month in northwest Montana through Libby Hostel Base Camp.

The “Birding the Clark Fork River” based out of Noxon, Mont., is set for June 12. The tour includes stops where guests will have a chance to scope for avian life. Bring binoculars, spotting scopes, lunch, cameras, field guide books and sense of humor.

On June 19, is the “Wildflowers and Wings,” birding/botany combo, and on Saturday, June 26 is "Early Summer Birding" at McGregor Lake.
