Aerial fireworks displays tonight, Sunday

There are a number of aerial fireworks displays in Kootenai County this weekend.

The public is welcome to watch them, but should be aware that some are ignited from private property.

Tonight's shows include: Stateline Speedway; Conkling Park Marina; Sun-up Bay; Gozzer Ranch; and Bayview.

July 4 fireworks displays: Coeur d'Alene City Beach; Harrison; Hayden Lake, Coeur d'Alene Casino and Sun-Up Bay.

Community celebrations

Coeur d’Alene's Fourth of July parade is 11 a.m. Sunday on Sherman Avenue, from 15th to Independence Point. Today and Sunday, there will be food vendors, rides, games and entertainment at city park from noon to 7 p.m.

Harrison

The Harrison Chamber of Commerce’s Fourth of July celebration includes games, vendors and live music at city park from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Spirit Lake

Spirit Lake’s Fourth of July parade begins at 11 a.m. Sunday. It goes along Maine Street and takes a turn to the park. It is a patriotic affair with red, white and blue the dominant colors. The parade features wagons, carts, bikes and critters too. Vendors, music, crafts, games and food will be at city park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bayview

Bayview Daze gets rolling with a parade at 11 a.m. today, with participants lining up at Third and Highway 54. There will be judging and awards in nine categories. Mitzi Johnson will be the grand marshal. Vendors will be in Bayview throughout the weekend
