CLIMATE: A bipartisan solution

| January 24, 2021 1:00 AM

Britain recently announced a ban on the sale of new diesel and gasoline powered vehicles as part of a “green industrial revolution” designed to confront climate change. This ban stops the sale of these vehicles starting in 2030 and bans the sale of new hybrid vehicles starting in 2035.

Closer to home, both Massachusetts and California will ban the sale of new gas-powered vehicles by 2035. Do these bans concern you? Would a Biden Administration supported by a Democrat-led U.S. House and Senate require similar bans across the nation?

What can you do if you are concerned about climate change, but don’t want government overreach?

What you can do is join a group concerned about climate change that promotes a solution with bipartisan support and actually reduces government regulation. Check out the Citizens’ Climate Lobby website at citizensclimatelobby.org and learn more about our solution to the climate change threat.

Join our monthly calling campaign at cclcalls.org and let our elected officials in Washington know your concerns. Join your local CCL Chapter and help us address climate change without government overreach!
