DIVISION: Let’s cross the line

During this turmoil raging through our country, instead of spewing vitriol aimed at opposing groups, let’s reflect on why this is happening.

Whether it’s Portland or Washington, D.C., can logic and reason justify the frustration displayed? If it were possible to set aside political differences and truly seek a solution, perhaps we could end this nonsense.

I’m a conservative and believe in certain traditional values instilled in me since childhood. I’d gladly step across our country’s division to seek the liberal who wants the best for our families and nation. I am not meek, but I seek a respectful solution that will heal us all regardless of our race, color or creed.
