VACCINE: Where’s the plan?

I just read the vapid report from Governor Little’s office on vaccine distribution. He appears to be the most intellectually unencumbered governor I’ve ever witnessed in office, and I’m ashamed to say I voted for him.

Governor: Please try to focus. We want details. What is the strategic PLAN? Oh, that the vaccine will be distributed “as quickly as possible?” That is your big news statement? And that vaccines will be shipped to “health care providers?” Oh, really? More big news! Gosh, the vaccines aren’t going to be sent to Macy’s?

WHAT HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS? Our nurses and doctors at the pharmacies, hospitals and clinics are overwhelmed treating patients and testing. Who are these “providers” who will magically appear and give out hundreds of thousands of shots? Where will you pull them from? Who is hiring them? What duties will they be taken from? The hospitals, pharmacies and clinics are already extremely short staffed.

How will people sign up to get vaccinated? Governor, do you know ANY of these answers? You and your staff are completely incompetent and the reporters have no interest in demanding specifics from you. Why can’t you give real answers? Why can you only speak in the most vague terms with absolutely no information whatsoever?

I’m convinced it’s because you have no plan, you know of no plan, you have not consulted with anyone about any plan or specific logistics about how the shots in the arms will actually happen. You are clueless.
