Grace Lilian Doolittle
Grace Lilian Doolittle was born June 10, 1925, to John E. and Ellen Ann (Newson) Fulcher in Norfolk, England. She grew up there and graduated high school and worked for the Ministry of Transport during World War II.
She met an American soldier named Lee Allen Doolittle at a dance during his active-duty deployment. The couple was united in marriage on June 5, 1943, and their union was blessed with two daughters, Zena and Fawn, and 64 years of marriage together. They moved to Kingston, Idaho, in 1946; to Coeur d’Alene in 1955; and to Dalton Gardens in 1976. In addition to raising her family and caring for their home, Grace worked in retail sales for more than 20 years.
Grace died peacefully at Pacifica Assisted Living on Dec. 23, 2020, at the age of 95 years.
