Rosters announced for state high school all-star basketball games
After a one-year absence last year due to COVID-19, the annual state high school all-star boys and girls basketball games are returning this year — albeit in a new location in North Idaho.
This year's event is scheduled for March 20 at Post Falls High School, as North Idaho College, the usual host, is unable to host this year due to COVID restrictions.
The game features the Metro (essentially, players from the Boise area) vs. the Region (players from the rest of the state). However, organizers said there has never been a year they didn't have to move kids around to fill roster spots at the last minute.
As usual, the event will include a slam dunk and 3-point contest between the girls and boys games.
