Oklahoma City wrestling

Foster, a senior from Post Falls High, landed Sooner Athletic Conference women’s wrestler of the week. Foster won her first open tournament title of her college career in the Grand View Open on Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa. Foster collected the 155-pound crown with a 13-10 win over Morgan Mayginnes of Baker (Kan.). Foster owns the No. 3 spot in the 143-pound NAIA rankings, while Mayginnes is ranked fifth at 155. In the semifinals, Foster nabbed a 10-0 win over Tiyahna Askew from Missouri Baptist. Foster pinned Alexis Lopez in 29 seconds in her first action of the season. Foster won a cowbell as her trophy for winning a Grand View Open title.

Logan Hunt

College of Idaho cross country

Hunt, a freshman from Timberlake High, was named the Cascade Conference Men's Runner of the Week. Hunt made his collegiate debut at the College of Idaho Ice Chipper in Caldwell, placing second overall out of a field of 27 runners. Hunt recorded a time of 19:45 over the 6-kilometer course, one of only two racers to break the 20 minute barrier.

Rylee Brown

Lewis-Clark State cross country

Brown, a junior from Coeur d'Alene High, led the Warrior women with an seventh-place finish at the Bushnell Invitational at Middlefield Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Ore. Brown finished in 19 minutes, 20 seconds.

Abigail Peightal

Lewis-Clark State cross country

Peightal, a sophomore from Timberlake High, was 15th at the Bushnell Invitational, finishing in 20:17.

Carter Gordon

Lewis-Clark State cross country

Gordon, a freshman from Lake City High, finished in 20th at the Bushnell Invitational, finishing in 28:16.
