A very detailed combination convenience store, eatery and gas station called Local Market At Atlas will open in early February at 3310 Atlas Road, northeast off Seltice Way.

The 7,000-square-foot market will offer expansive grocery goods, upscale beer and wines, a made-to-order deli with sit-down beverages and foods, a drive-through with handcrafted espressos and smoothies, and to-go items. Several fuel options will be available.

A unique building design features high wooden-beam ceilings and black stone. Owners-operators Gary and Sandy Singh will be helped by their son Andy and his wife Mandy.

Northwest Artists in Silver Lake Mall

Eight local artists are hosted by The Laser Engravers in Suite 1209 in Silver Lake Mall, 200 W. Hanley Ave.

The Laser Engravers team include Red Rooster Crafts, La Vita Bella, MKC West, My Girls Hats, Ancient Alchemy Apothecary, Rustic Glory and Heaven Scent with a wide variety of items.

Owner and host of Northwest Artists is Tammy Lambert assisted by Jason and Amanda Lambert. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.

Thermography Northwest opens on Howard Street

Offering technologically advanced medical thermal imaging, Thermography Northwest has opened in Suite B-2 in the Optimal Living Institute at 2775 N. Howard St.

Thermology can detect inflammation as temperatures rise in areas with increased blood flow to detect and monitor abnormal changes in the body with specializing in breast health education with no radiation, contact or pain.
