PASTORS: Lead peace movement — please

How are we ever going to have a peaceful society in our country if everybody keeps yelling and degrading each other? It’s clear to me that the media and our government play a big role in stirring the pot and creating turmoil.

So what to do? There is a way to calm things down. I submit it for your consideration.

(1 Timothy 2:1-2) “I exhort therefore, that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”

I didn’t make this up. It is a command from God! If God wants us to pray for this He is ready to hear and answer our prayers. Maybe if our pastors lead the way we could get this going nationwide, maybe worldwide. I hope our pastors do lead the way. Remember what happened in Nazi Germany when they didn’t.
