Center Target Sports offers customer appreciation event
POST FALLS — The 10th annual Center Target Sports Customer Appreciation Event and Swap Meet benefiting the community is Saturday, Aug. 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There's no admission charge. Center Target Sports is at 3295 E. Mullan Ave. in Post Falls.
This year, the objective is to create a great event while assisting Post Falls Food Bank, Vitalant Blood Bank and Toys for Tots, said Peggy Santos, who with husband Ed owns Center Target Sports.
Hundreds of prizes will be given away, she said. Other event features will include Joe Strain & the Wild Wild Whips with amazing bull whip demonstrations, Post Falls Police K-9 demonstration, over 40 swap-meet booths and much more.
"This year promises to be bigger and better than 2019," Peggy Santos said, noting that the pandemic canceled last year's event.
Giveaways include: three firearms, two cases of ammo, a full size Ironman Safe, a Mantis-X10, a lifetime membership to CTS plus hundreds of smaller prizes.
But the big winner will be the community.
"In our record year we collected 25,000 pounds of food, 125 units of blood and three totes of toys," she said. "We need to beat that this year, as the community is in desperate need of these items."
For every pound of donated food items or each toy brought in, donors will receive a ticket for the prize drawings.
Three bloodmobiles will be fully staffed during the event, and Santos said appointments should be made early. Call Center Target at 208-773-2331 or sign up at: https://bit.ly/3fDzSJ7
