CDA: Popularity is poison

My wife and I just returned from a visit to Coeur d’Alene to be with family for the first time since we moved nearly two years ago. What a shock we received.
We knew that the area was changing when we decided to relocate, but was stunned by the severity of the changes.
The pristine mountain lake town that we moved to in 2001 has been ruined! We never saw unmown roadsides, trash along Sherman Avenue or mile-long traffic jams.
The popularity of Coeur d’Alene has come back to haunt you. In speaking with friends during our visit, to a person, they all said the quality of life has taken a nose dive.
Unfortunately, it is probably too late to stop the madness. I guess we got out at the right time.
