HOSPITAL: McFarland strong choice

As a staff physician at Kootenai Health for more than 25 years, I am writing to support Robert McFarland, MD, as a candidate for Kootenai Health Trustee.

Like Dr. McFarland, I grew up on the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene and returned here after medical training to devote my career to providing medical care for the people of North Idaho. Based on many years of personal interaction, I certify that Dr. McFarland is an excellent physician, and a dedicated leader both at Kootenai Health and in the larger community.

He has served in many state and local roles with utmost integrity, bringing experience and insight to a whole host of advisory positions. He is well suited to the position he seeks, and I have no doubt he will faithfully represent the residents of Kootenai County as Trustee on the Kootenai Health Board.
