POST FALLS — It was good vibes only at the 15th annual Community Business Fair in the Greyhound Park and Event Center on Wednesday evening.

Representatives from 70 businesses and service organizations mixed and mingled with community members and colleagues as they traded business cards, spun prize wheels and swapped stories.

"I think it's really awesome," Lorraine La Pietra of Post Falls said. "We were the first ones here. We were standing out there and walked right in. It was really cool. Everybody's so friendly, and I think it's important that we meet the people at the businesses and get to know them a lot more."

Attendees snacked and chitchatted as they meandered through the booths, meeting friendly and enthusiastic ambassadors from Cricket Wireless, Northwest Specialty Hospital, North Star Retirement Community, the Post Falls Food Bank and more.

"It's very nice to be out in the public and doing events," said North Star executive director Tambra Maple, whose booth and employees were glitzed up in "Great Gatsby" Roaring '20s garb.

She said North Star has participated in the Post Falls Community Business Fair for five years.

"We really missed it last year," she said. "It's one of the best in this area. We always have great networking. The public comes out to attend. This is always a good turnout."

Presented by the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce, the fair averages about 400 guests each year.

"It's an opportunity for the community to come out and meet the businesses all in one location," Chamber President Christina Petit said. "We bring everybody together and we provide a fun evening, just a few hours to come out and see what's happening in Post Falls."
