Post Falls tree giveaway continues

Post Falls is celebrating Arbor Day with the 16th annual Post Falls Tree Giveaway.

This year’s Tree Giveaway is a drive-thru style event. It started Thursday and continues today, and again April 12 to 14, at the Q’emiln Park Boat Launch. Residents must register online in advance for their tree species and pick up time at www.postfallsidaho.org.

The tree and shrub selection includes 11 different varieties.

More than 30,000 trees have been given away at this annual event over the years with the help and generosity of local volunteer groups and event sponsors.
