Bands on Boats sails back into action
COEUR d’ALENE — Get ready to rock the boat on Lake Coeur d'Alene this summer.
Lake Coeur d’Alene Cruises has announced its lineup for the 2021 Bands on Boats Summer Concert Series.
“Bands on Boats is as incredible as it sounds,” Lake Coeur d’Alene Cruises sales director Kelly VanDewerker said. "It’s a chance to leave the world behind and dance the night away on the lake to your favorite rock or country live performers, with a whole lotta good music, good views and good times."
Launching the series July 2 is the Kelly Hughes Band, a crowd-pleasing Northwest favorite that blends traditional country and high-energy contemporary.
On July 15, Quiet Hollers will light up the lake with its own special brand of alt country. Bringing a unique sound born and bred in Louisville, Quiet Hollers always puts on a great show.
Smash Hit Carnival will offer a boatload of fun July 23. These incredible entertainers can do it all, playing favorite hit songs in all styles with comedy, costumes and artist impersonations.
Aug. 1 will feature a mystery band, to be announced in early June.
On Aug. 15, Band of Heathens will bring its soulful and powerful style of American rock and roll all the way from Austin, Texas.
The Aug. 20 performance will feature Shane Smith and the Saints, which will close out the series with freewheeling, open-hearted roots music that has a heart in country but is not afraid to dive into rock.
Each concert will last three hours. Cruises will begin at 7 p.m. and return to the dock at 10 p.m. Cocktails and food will be available for purchase onboard.
