PASTOR: Talk about wicked

| September 30, 2020 1:00 AM

After the multiple reports on Rev. Van Noy’s health, I feel it also the duty to let Coeur d’Alene Press readers get a follow up about him. About him as a person. I think our community deserves it.

As we all know, nothing posted on social media fails to go public. As such, I was appalled and disgusted to read a recent post by Rev. Van Noy. Rather than be suspect of taking something out of context, I have attached the post itself. I believe it says more about Rev. Van Noy than it does the target of his ire.

And since religious titles can be tacked onto the name of anybody wanting to open a tax-free business (and possibly stick their nose into politics) or, in my case, anyone who pays $15 for an online certificate, I will sign this accordingly.

Posting by Paul Van Noy:

At the risk of really upsetting many, I nonetheless feel compelled to make a brief comment on the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

While it is certain that God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, and the fact that the wicked are destined to spend eternity in hell, we should not be celebrating her death. However, the fact remains — Ruth Bader Ginsburg was wicked. She stood against the moral, biblical, righteous standards of God. She was an enemy of righteousness and should not be celebrated as a national hero.
