Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to a reported injury crash on Jensen Dr. in Hayden, where a 60YO female hit a mail box and became upset. At one point, she was laying in the street, sobbing. It was learned that the damage was insignificant and she was uninjured. The driver was worried about her insurance going up.

• Detectives located a wanted person and notified Deputies, who responded to St. Emilion in Hayden and arrested a male on his Felony DV warrant.

• Deputies responded to N. Brookside Dr. in Hayden for a report of a physical fight between a father and adult son. The R/P called to report he was in an altercation again. Both have a history of drinking and fighting with each other. There was no physical fight.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Detectives, along with a Deputy and his K-9 assisted the CDA PD with a wanted person in Hayden. The male was located at a residence on Gairloch. When confronted, he fled on foot, running across Highway 95, but after the short foot pursuit he was taken into custody in the Ziggy's parking lot. 20-40472

• Deputies responded to Huetter and Lancaster for a report of a T-bone crash involving a cement truck and a pickup. Initially injuries were reported, but after units arrived on scene it was determined those injuries were not severe, and no one was transported. A large oil and gas spill occurred due to the collision, which was cleaned up by fire and Lakes Highway District. 20-40450

• Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash at Canfield and Valley. No injuries were reported and an e-impact report was completed. 20-40460

• Deputies responded to Painters Loop for a domestic dispute. On scene they contacted a female and male. They stated they were in a heated argument regarding the female’s son being put in a timeout. No crime was committed and male chose to leave for the night. 20-40482

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Patrol Sergeant stopped a vehicle at Government Way X Wilbur Ave. He contacted the driver who exhibited the symptoms of intoxication. A Patrol Deputy arrived and took over the DUI investigation. The driver failed SFST's and provided two breath samples of .125/.124. She was arrested for DUI. 20-40489

• Deputies responded to Stateline Showgirls for a report of a counterfeit bill. A male tried to pay for dances using a fake $100 bill. On the back of the bill it was stamped "prop copy". His identity was revealed after he used his credit card to obtain cash back and provided identification to verify it was his card. The male was interviewed and a report was completed to be further investigated by Detectives. 20-40490

• Deputies handled a battery at the Kon Tiki. A female was heavily intoxicated and was asked to leave numerous times. After refusing the bartender attempted to escort her out of the building. When doing so, a fight ensued. Neither party wanted to pursue charges. 20-40493

• A Deputy contacted a suspicious male at Habitat for Humanity. The male was observed in the parking lot, going through the dumpster. After speaking with the male, he admitted to taking items from the location that did not belong to him. He was cited and released for possession of stolen property. His probation officer was also notified of his nefarious activities. 20-40499
