| September 10, 2020 1:00 AM

COEUR d’ALENE — The Coeur d'Alene Public Library and the Museum of North Idaho will again partner for a new series of Inland Northwest Milestones focusing on the individuals who played a major role in the history of our region.

Regional historian Robert Singletary, programming and marketing director for the museum and author of “Coeur d’Alene Beautiful & Progressive,” will feature a pair of people for each program beginning Thursday, Sept. 24, with Lawrence Aripa and Frederick Blackwell.

For now, the programs will stream on the library’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/CDALibrary, at 7 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of the month through June 24, 2021. (In-person programs will be offered in the future if it is deemed safe to do so by health officials.)

The only exception to this schedule will be during November and December when changes will be made to accommodate the holidays.

Following the Sept. 24 presentation, the featured figures will include: Oct. 22, Hazel Cardwell and Gen. William Carlin; Dec. 3, Perry Christianson and Stanley Easton; Jan. 28, Teresa Graham and Harley Hudson; Feb. 25, Father Thomas Purcell and Louise Shadduck; March 25, Peter C. Sorenson and P.W. Johnson; April 22, George Thomson and Kyle Walker; May 27, Charles Warner and Joseph C. White; and June 24, George T. Williams and Marcus Wright.
