Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to W. Riverbend Ave. in Post Falls for a found two year old child walking a dog. The child was returned to his parents. Report taken. 20-46716

• A Deputy responded to JDC and arrested a male for his warrant after he turned himself in. 20-46724

• A Deputy responded to S. Labrador Lane in CDA for a welfare check on a male as his employer has not heard from him in almost a week. The residence was a vacant lot and we did not have a good phone number for male. His parents were contacted and said he lived in Spokane, and were not surprised to hear of the need to check on him. The male is a veteran and does not ask for assistance. The parents said they would check on him in Spokane and they did not provide an address. 20-46729

• Deputies responded to N. Carrie Rd. in Spirit Lake for a suspicious call where the RP said her partner's son was kidnapped. Deputies were able to talk with the mother and the R/P and determined there was no evidence of such incident. The son is 18 years old and does not live with either person. At this time, there is no evidence he is missing or has been kidnapped. 20-46749

• A Deputy responded to Maribou and Prairie Ave. for a welfare check on an adult female who appeared "out of it". They made contact with a female, who lives in Grouse Meadows. She refused any assistance other than a ride to her house. 20-46757

• Deputies responded to N. Government Way in Hayden for suspicious male who was possible "casing" a property with a large package on the front porch. The male was a sub-contractor for the owner of the property (confirmed by the owner). The male was terminated from employment because he was late for work, which we passed along to him from his boss. 20-46760

• SIU Det. Sgt. observed a vehicle with fictitious license plates and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested on his Felony Warrant for Trafficking Methamphetamine and cited for DWP. The passenger claimed to own the vehicle, but it was not registered to him and he could not remember at first who he bought the vehicle from. Eventually it was determined the vehicle was not stolen but had been sold repeatedly without being registered. The fictitious plates were registered to a male who was not on scene and had a warrant. Through the investigation, marijuana and heroin paraphernalia was located in the vehicle by detectives and they located heroin on the passenger’s person. He was arrested for possession of heroin and cited for mara/para.

• While clearing the above call, Detectives observed another wanted subject near Seltice X Greensferry and arrested him for his warrant. 20-46766

• Multiple Deputies and Sergeants from Days and Swings responded to Huetter Rd. and Orchard Ave. for a two vehicle head-on injury crash involving a passenger car and a large commercial truck hauling a 15,000 lb boat. Fire responded to extricate the driver of the passenger car, who was not conscious and sustained a broken femur. The traffic team was called out to investigate the accident. 20-46780

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to the area of N. Marabou and W. Prairie Ave. in reference to a Welfare Check on a female that had been called in as appearing confused possibly having an Alzheimer’s type event. This is the same female from day shift. Deputies located the female and they ended up transporting her to KH for a hold. 20-46783

• As the result of a traffic stop near Hanley X Pinegrove, A Deputy arrested a male for his Warrant. 20-46823

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Seltice X Greensferry. Of the four occupants in the vehicle, several were on probation and a female in the rear seat was arrested for poss. of meth, and poss. of para. Another male occupant was arrested for his active warrant.

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy stopped and arrested a male on his Idaho State Penitentiary warrant for parole violations. Upon arrest, the Deputy located methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia. 20-46853
