ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Sarah Hines, Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy girls soccer

The senior forward scored the game-winning goal as Coeur d'Alene Charter defeated Sugar-Salem 1-0 in double overtime to win the state 3A girls soccer championship for the fifth straight year. "She knew teams were going to pay a lot of attention to her defensively, and she handled that pressure with incredible poise," Charter coach Stacy Smith said. "Her playing ability speaks for itself, but what is so fun to watch is the joy she plays this game with. It rubs off on her teammates and makes her a great leader by example. She has set a very high offensive bar for those coming up in this program."
