DECISION: Earning our bad press

North Idaho makes national news, again!

Unfortunately, again not for showing wisdom and insight.

With the COVID-19 spike, the hospital at capacity, ICU full, our own epidemiologist, director of Panhandle Health and essentially all community medical professionals expressing extreme concern about our local situation and ability to care for our citizens at risk, the non-medical members of the Panhandle Health Board voted to rescind the mask mandate because of the pressure of individuals who do not understand facts and science. Again we made national news. Hooray!? So sad.
