Grove wins Inland Empire PGA

LIBERTY LAKE — North Idaho College men's and women's golf coach Russell Grove shot a 5-under-par 137 (66-71) to win the Inland Empire PGA Pacific Northwest Chapter championship, played Monday and Tuesday at MeadowWood and Liberty Lake golf courses.

Corey Prugh, golf coach at Community Colleges of Spokane, finished second, one shot back at 65-73—138.

Jess Wingett and Gabe Dorosh tied for fourth at 4-over 148. Wingett, assistant pro at The Highlands, shot 70-76. Dorosh, head pro at The Club at Rock Creek, shot 68-78.

Boise State football games

Four of Boise State's eight regular-season football games will be played on CBS Sports Network, and the other four will be played on FS1 or FS2, according to the Mountain West Conference football schedule released Tuesday.

One BSU game is scheduled for a Thursday, with two slated for Fridays.

The conference championship game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 19, on FOX or FS1 at a time to be announced.

EWU to re-air radio broadcasts

from selected 2018 games

A series of seven radio re-broadcasts from Eastern Washington University's 2018 footbal season will be featured regionally on ESPN 700 AM and 105.3 FM starting on Saturday as part of the "Eagle Rewind" series of shows produced in association with EWU media partner Learfield Sports.

The broadcast will take place at noon, starting Saturday. Seven Eagle victories from the 2018 season will be featured on Saturdays through Nov. 28. Eastern shared the Big Sky Conference title in 2018 before going on to advance to the NCAA Division I championship game, where the Eags lost to North Dakota State and finished 12-3.

During the broadcasts, in-game commentary will be provided by Voice of the Eagles Larry Weir and analyst Paul Sorensen.
