UNDERSTANDING: Facts come first

Regarding your editorial “Promoting understanding,” an example of what is called fake news is in the AP article in Friday’s paper, page A3, on Trump rallies. It says that the coronavirus has killed 210,000 people in the U.S. That is not true: 210,000 may have died WITH the virus not from the virus. This is how you perhaps inadvertently promote fear instead of understanding.
