An election must-read
The Sept. 29 My Turn article by Luba Wold, a Russian emigrant, was excellent and should be read by everyone prior to voting this year. The Coeur d’Alene Press should run it every week up until Nov. 3.
Funny (peculiar) how a left wing publication like The Atlantic publishes a story about President Trump allegedly disparaging our military — with anonymous sources — and everyone takes it as gospel. However, 45 people intimately familiar with the trip where these things were purportedly said, disagreed saying that the president never said those things. Statements of those 45 were summarily dismissed by many.
The Coeur d’Alene Press uses news feeds from the Associated Press (AP) for national news. However, I have yet to see one article on the discovery and release of 39 missing children from a double-wide trailer outside Atlanta. Or the discovery and release of 25 missing children in Ohio both by a governmental task force printed in the Coeur d’Alene Press. The AP only seems to print negative articles about President Trump and positive articles about BLM. Maybe it’s time the Coeur d’Alene Press looks for a new source.
