NIC: All info is helpful

| October 7, 2020 1:00 AM

I just learned from a Republican precinct member that North Idaho College has a diversity council that is supporting the organization Black Lives Matter. This concerns me. I want to know if the candidates for the NIC Board are in favor of this or not.

I am against any tax dollars being used to support this destructive, anti-American Black Lives Matter organization which is a vehicle for Marxist ideology. I believe ALL LIVES MATTER.

I see that the Coeur d’Alene Press is saying that the Republican committee should not be involved in this race because it’s nonpartisan. I don’t have time to find all of these things out. I should be able to rely on these types of committees to let me know if there’s something I should be aware of, like NIC supporting this organization.

So partisan or nonpartisan, I thank the Republican committee for doing the legwork that I don’t have the time to do. I don’t agree with The Press that these political organizations shouldn’t be telling us what they know about issues. I’m grateful to them.

Now I am going to go find out how each of these candidates for this board feel about this. If they support Black Lives Matter, I will not be voting for them. I look forward to voting for the one person who does not support this anti-American platform.
