FIRE: Time to come clean

Whoever started the fire on the east shore of Lake Pend Oreille, you need to come clean or live with it forever. You know who you are and what you did.

We spend a good deal of time on the beach, boat camping and picnicking and swimming. We recall a fire a few years ago set off by a flair, by accident, but this fire was due to a very careless individual who had no concern for the folks in Lakeview or the goats or the timber and above all, the heroic fire fighters who risk their lives for us every year.

All you had to do was to put out the fire before leaving. There is plenty of water nearby. Do yourself a favor and come clean and admit it. If not, I hope you have bad dreams and have many sleepless nights. You have caused nothing but pain to many neighbors. So sad!
