Notable calls for the day!
10-02-2020
Day Shift handled the following notable calls:
• A Detective observed a male at Loves truck and it appeared he had just conducted a drug deal. He was stopped and a consent/probation search of his vehicle yielded marijuana, hash, methamphetamine, baggies, and a scale. The male was arrested for delivery of meth, PWI meth, PWI marijuana and was cited for possession of hash and paraphernalia. 20-33742.
• A Civil Deputy served papers to Santiago Circle to a female, who had an active warrant. A Patrol Deputy responded and arrested the female on her warrant. 20-42846
• A Patrol Sergeant came upon a two vehicle crash on Highway 95 at Upriver Drive. Deputies responded to assist the Sergeant with traffic control while ISP handled the crash. Medical responded for an adult female suffering from head and neck injuries, who was later transported.
Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:
• Several Deputies responded to School House Loop near Cataldo for a missing 88 year old male. The male was last seen approximately 10 hours earlier when he left to ride a 4-wheeler on his 60 acre tree farm. The family had searched for him for the majority of the day and was unable to locate him. Due to the terrain and dark, Rec. Safety Deputies were called to assist. Once on scene, they began another search. A family member located the male deceased on the property, pinned under the four wheeler, likely from crashing it. 20-42918
• Deputies responded to N. Cecil in reference to a report of a Wanted Person at that location. The wanted person was taken into custody without incident. 20-42903
• A report of a motorcyclist driving recklessly in the area of Hayden X Huetter was aired to units. A short time later, a Patrol Lieutenant found the described motorcyclist pulling to the Wal-Mart Hayden parking area. Upon contact, the Lt. learned the male suspended out of Montana. A citation was issued. 20-42891
• Deputies responded to the area E. Upper Hayden Lake Rd. in reference to a young male found walking in the roadway with no shoes and wearing only a bathing suit or underwear. When the RP tried to ask him if he was okay, he wouldn't answer. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the male, who appeared to be suffering from mental illness. Medical was called to the scene and determined the male needed to be transported to Kootenai Health. 20-42910
Night Shift handled the following notable calls:
• Deputies responded to S Prospect Ave in Harrison for a domestic between husband/wife. Both battered each other and both received citations for domestic battery and were separated. 20-42936.
• Deputies responded to the Cougar Gulch area for possible suicidal subject. Upon contact, Deputies discovered the male was just having a rough night due to a recent breakup and was left in the care of family. 20-42940.
Notable calls for the day!
10-03-2020
Day shift handled the following notable calls:
• Deputies responded to an address on Hudlow Rd. in Hayden for a structure fire. After fire personnel extinguished the fire, human remains were located in the residence. Detectives and fire investigators responded and were processing the scene. No further information will be released at this time.
Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:
• Several Deputies were assigned to work an “Oktoberfest” event in the City of Harrison. When Deputies in town they found the entire docks were full and parking for the event had reached to the neighborhoods at the top of town, and outside the city limits on Hwy 97. They stayed in town and worked the event until approximately 0030 hours. They dealt with several parking problems, bar fights, noise complaints, and prevented multiple DUI's.
• Deputies responded to N. Trails End Rd. to assist Fire Personnel. It was reported a house which had burned down some time ago had been pushed/piled into a pit and some people lit it on fire again. NLFD was called to the scene and immediately requested Law Enforcement, and units responded to the scene. In the end, the folks on scene reluctantly put out the fire with the assistance of a nearby neighbor due to them not having any water to tend to the fire in the first place. It was later explained by Fire Personnel the individuals on scene initially were extremely confrontational, and had vicious dogs, hence the request of KCSO units. 20-43034
• Deputies responded to the Kon Tiki Bar due to a male calling 911 stating another male was trying "to take his woman." Prior to Deputies arrival the RP advised the male had left, and "he was just going to let it go." Deputies made contact on scene and learned no crime occurred, just that the RP appeared to be pretty dramatic. 20-43045
• A Patrol Sergeant was on a traffic stop near the intersection of Government Way X Lancaster, and was in the process of giving the driver back his info when a dark colored passenger car drove through the stop sign without stopping. The Sergeant stopped the vehicle and learned the two juv. fem. occupants were headed to "a friend's house". Another Deputy arrived on scene as cover, and in speaking with the pair learned there was actually a party occurring at their intended destination. Parents of both females were called to take them home due to alcohol being located on scene. Citation issued. 20-43035
• During the above mentioned traffic stop the Deputy learned the location of the party. Deputies responded to a residence on N Morgan Ln at the request of the homeowner, who was out of town, as the party was organized by their juvenile house sitter. Upon the Deputies arrival there were only two vehicles in the driveway. The house sitter was contacted, as well as her juvenile friend, and it was learned the party had abruptly ended some time ago due to the word getting out that law enforcement was aware of the situation. Parents of the juvenile friend of the house sitter arrived and took her home and the house sitter was left at the residence at the request of the home owner. 20-43043
• Central Dispatch aired a call for a Wrong Way Driver; northbound in the southbound lanes of Hwy 95. Deputies attempted to locate the vehicle near the Chilco Mill, however one of the RP's advised the driver cut through the median and was attempting to get back in the proper lane of travel. Another RP advised the vehicle was exiting at the Silverwood exit. A Deputy who had just checked into service located the vehicle on Bunco Rd. just west of Cedar Mountain Rd. A DUI investigation ensued, and although the male was initially detained, he provided samples under the legal limit. A safe ride home was procured by his granddaughter and her friend. 20-43053
Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:
• Deputies responded to Idaho x Wyoming for a single vehicle collision into a power pole. The highly intoxicated driver exited the vehicle and urinated in the reporting party's field prior to staggering away on foot. As units set up containment on the area for Drone search, the driver emerged from a nearby field. The driver had misdemeanor DUI warrants and was placed into custody. The driver sustained only minor injuries from the collision and was taken to the PSB for his warrant arrest and charged for this DUI and Hit/Run. 20-43064.
• Deputies responded to N Radian Rd for possible suicidal male. Upon arrival, units learned the male was not suicidal, only venting due to harsher restrictions from his grandmother and probation officer. 20-43077.
Notable calls for the day!
10-04-2020
Day Shift handled the following notable calls:
• Deputies responded to Super One in Athol for a male running around naked. Upon their arrival they contacted a male who was clothed at the time and who admitted undressing in the restroom and washing himself down, but did not admit being naked outside the restroom in the store or parking lot. Because the RP was anonymous and the deputies did not see him naked there was no charges and a FI was completed. 20-43108
• Deputies responded to N Riffle RD regarding a suspicious call. Upon their arrival they learned a gray Toyota was parked on the property. Based on the items in the vehicle it appeared the owner of the vehicle was hunting. Central was able to get ahold of the property owner who advised no one had permission to be on the property except one male. Deputies attempted to locate the owner of the vehicle but did not. A card was left on the vehicle to contact the SO. 20-43100
Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:
• Deputies responded to a residence at S. Meckel Rd. in regards to a family dispute. According to RP he was “assaulted” by his brother. Deputies arrived and discovered all parties to be severely intoxicated. The R/P was battered by his brother however he did not want to pursue charges for the crime. A report was taken 20-43159
• A Deputy responded to the Coeur d’Alene Casino in regards to security finding a purse on the gaming floor. The purse contained paraphernalia. Hotel security and Deputies located the female and re-united her with her purse, however, she was cited for the paraphernalia. 20-43171
• Deputies responded to I90 at the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge in regards to a vehicle being seen parked on the bridge with its hazard lights on. Upon arrival, Deputies were not able to locate any vehicle parked on or near the bridge, and there were no other RP’s. 20-43148
• A Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Huetter and Wyoming. The Deputy arrested the driver and passenger for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. 20-42173
• A Deputy responded to the Holiday Inn on orchard in regards to a domestic dispute. The R/P stated a male was in her hotel room refusing to leave and threatening her and her son. Deputies responded and contacted the male who returned from the bars and began arguing with the R/P’s son who is bi-bolar and schizophrenic. No crimes were committed and Deputies completed an FI. 20-43179
Night Shift handled the following notable calls:
• A Deputy stopped a vehicle at Seltice x Bay and arrested the passenger for meth, destruction of evidence, para, false info and her warrant. 20-43186
