Notable calls for the day!

10-01-2020

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to Cowboy Way in Athol for a 911 disconnect where the caller was unable to speak on the line. Dispatch started to ask questions with push button responses in case the victim was unable to talk to due medical or safety reasons. The caller would push buttons any time they asked a question, leading the call taker to believe there was some type of domestic violence at the residence. Due to the unknown nature of the domestic several other Deputies responded, however it was found to be a medical issue with a nonverbal wheelchair bound female. No signs of struggle or violence were found.

• Deputies responded to the area of Hidden Valley Rd. X Idaho Rd. for a possible DUI collision. After Deputies arrived in the area, the vehicle was located but the reported female driver was not located. During the search of the area for the female, a 911 call came in from a residence in the area. The female driver had walked to an old associate’s residence and appeared to be suffering medical issues from the collision. Medical responded and she was not in need of medical care. Deputies conducted his DUI investigation and the driver admitted to drinking Vodka, Fireball and a bottle of Goldschlager. The driver provided a breath sample of .319. The vehicle's owner was located. She had permission to drive it, however, it was totaled.

There was a name in the wallet which will hopefully help in locating the offender. 20-42710
