Person dies in structure fire

One person died after a fully-engulfed structure fire on Saturday morning just east of U.S. 95 near Garwood.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office said deputies and personnel from Northern Lakes Fire Department responded to the 3300 block of East Hudlow Road at 11:15 a.m.

Once the fire was extinguished, a body was found inside the single-wide trailer on the property, KCSO reported. The name of the victim is being withheld until the person's identity can be confirmed and next of kin has been notified.
