VEHICLE FEE: ‘No’ on money pit

This letter is in response to the article in The Press dated Sept. 25, Vehicle Registration. First I feel this type of legislation should start in Boise, not Kootenai County. How is this going to be monitored to help everybody? The developers should have to pay more, not the current taxpayer.

We need more managed growth. Did I read right — $7.5 million for a regional traffic center? Wow, sounds like a money pit to me. My vote on this is a big no.
