TRUMP: Never said that

Several recent letters continue to promote a proven lie concerning our president. An Atlantic Magazine article, quoting anonymous sources, claimed Mr. Trump called our fallen World War I soldiers “losers” and “suckers.”

However, a number of people there when this comment was allegedly made denied Mr. Trump made such a statement. One of these was John Bolton, who left the administration and has been very critical of Mr. Trump since leaving.

The Coeur d’Alene Press should either not publish letters containing known falsities or should add a clarification following such letters.
