LEWISTON — Isaac Ballew’s goal in the 15th minute was the difference for the Trojans in a 5A Inland Empire League win over the Bengals at Walker Field.

With the win, Post Falls (5-2-2, 3-1-2 5A IEL) will be either the second or top seed to regionals depending on the outcome of Saturday’s match between Lewiston (0-6 in league) and Coeur d’Alene (6-1-2, 2-1-2) at Coeur d’Alene High. If Coeur d’Alene wins, the Vikings, Trojans and Lake City (6-1-2, 3-1-2) will finish in a three-way tie for the league title. Lake City holds the tiebreaker over Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene, based on head-to-head goal differential.
