Learn about local law enforcement

National Night Out, a chance to meet with local law enforcement and learn about about services and resources, is set for 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Coeur d’Alene police will be at the Starbucks in Riverstone, 2356 Old Mill Road.

The public can stop by and visit with patrol officers, traffic officers, crime prevention unit and victim services advocate.

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office said it will have a virtual National Night Out and has partnered with the Coeur d’Alene Association of Realtors, which has purchased blue light bulbs that will be distributed Tuesday.

Distribution points, also 4 to 6 p.m., are the Starbucks at 4082 Primrose Lane, Post Falls, and 540 W. Prairie Ave.

KCSO said local law enforcement partners will be available at these locations and will have some giveaways, too.
