Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Dep. Cutler took phone harassment report at N. Clarkview Pl.

• A Deputy arrested a male at Adult Misd. Probation for an agents warrant.

• A Deputy arrested a juvenile male for his warrant at JDC.

• A Deputy arrested a juvenile female for her warrant at JDC.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Several Deputies responded to S. Hwy 95 in regards to industrial accident. A male was loading heavy equipment onto his semi-truck but failed to put his trucks brakes on. The male was run over by his own unoccupied vehicle and drug down the driveway. The male sustained severe injuries to his head and body. Life light was dispatched however it was cancelled and the male was transported via ambulance. 20-42390

• A Deputy responded to the area of Alder Creek Rd and Appalachian Trail in regards to a welfare check. It was reported that a female was possibly living in her vehicle in the area and the reporting party requested she be checked on. Deputies contacted the female who was sleeping in her tent. She advised she was dropped off by her ex-husband. According to the female she is allergic/sensitive to mold electronics, household items and wifi signals. These cause her to break out and also cause her discomfort. The female was only camping in the area (due to these allergies) and had sufficient water, food, and equipment. 20-42401

• Deputies responded to a wrong way driver call on Hwy 95 and Miles. The vehicle was located traveling south on Government near Prairie. As a Deputy activated his emergency lights the vehicle pulled over onto the left side of the road crossing two oncoming lanes. The vehicle came to a stop on the sidewalk narrowly missing a telephone pole. It was discovered that the female driver was severely intoxicated and had her 6YOA granddaughter in the vehicle without a car seat/seat belt. The child was released to her mother and the driver was arrested for DUI (BAC of 0.165) and injury to child. 20-42428

• Deputies responded to the Prairie Shopping center for the report of a crash. The crash was determined to be not reportable and a swap form was completed. 20-42399

• A Deputy conducted follow up on a theft that occurred at Beau Monde the previous day. The follow up was conducted with the assistance of P&P at an address in Coeur d’Alene. No stolen property was located however methamphetamine was discovered at the residence. The owner of the drugs was not on scene and was charged via complaint.

• A Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Seltice and Corbin. While contacting the driver, the Deputy smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search was conducted and marijuana and paraphernalia was located. He was charged with frequenting and his passenger was cited and released for possessing marijuana and paraphernalia. 20-42416

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Multiple units responded to Joes Hole in Spirit Lake for a disturbance where an intoxicated male was thrown out of the bars in town and was outside throwing bowling balls at his car. Upon arrival, they learned the intoxicated male is high functioning autistic and was throwing baseballs at his car to calm down while he waited to sober up and drive. No crime occurred and he was provided a courtesy transport home to Scarcello Rd. 20-42445

• Deputies responded to the area of Seltice x Huetter for a shots fired call. A caller in the trailer park heard 5 shots in the area. The area was checked and nothing found. However, shortly before this, PFPD had a similar call of 5 shots and they located shell casings in the intersection of 3rd x Greensferry. They had no suspect information. 20-42458
