Norma L. Fleming, 84
Norma Lea Fleming, 84, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away Nov. 3, 2020, with her family by her side. Norma was born on Sept. 28, 1936, in Twin Lakes, Idaho, to George and Hazel (Caldwell) Horton.
Norma, as an Idaho native, spent her entire life in her beautiful state. She was a homemaker and raised four sons: Rodney, Kim, Kevin and Chris. While raising her sons, Norma attended Kinman Business School in Spokane and worked in the secretarial field for a short time. However, her family was her love. Norma’s interests included sewing, gardening and reading.
Norma is survived by her children: Rodney (Sherry) Fleming of Manhattan, Kan., Kim (Sherryl) Fleming of Coeur d’Alene, Kevin Fleming of St. Maries, Idaho, and Chris (Sheila) Fleming of Santa, Idaho; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister Darlene “Dee” Ternes of Coeur d’Alene; as well as numerous siblings and extended family.
Norma will be greatly missed.
At Norma’s request, no services will be held. Her urn will be placed at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens next to her husband, Jay.
