Notable calls for the day!

11-19-2020

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to N. Government Way in an attempt to locate juvenile who was in an argument with his guardian and left the residence without permission. The Deputy located juvenile on Government and Orchard and attempted to make contact with him. He fled on foot but was caught by the Deputy after a short chase. The Deputy arrested the juvenile for habitual runaway and resisting/obstructing. 20-49943

• A Deputy stopped a car on Greensferry Rd. at Highway 53 and cited the male driver for speed and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. 20-49951

• Deputies responded to the Super One in Hayden for a shoplifter. A male was contacted and cited for petit theft. 20-49976

• A Deputy completed a juvenile runaway report on juvenile female as she did not get off the bus after school. She is a student at Lakeland HS and lives on N. Church Rd. near Rathdrum. 20-49978

• A Deputy responded to Fernan Lake Rd. at the FSR 1562 trail head for a suspicious male yelling about molesting someone. Nothing was found in the area. 20-49979

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy handled a cold Property Damage crash (occurred at 1730 hours) in the intersection of Ramsey and Prairie. 20-50005

• A Deputy responded to Spirit Lake for an Agency Assist request reference one of their unit's being out with a DUI. 20-50037

• Deputies and Detectives responded to Beck Rd. just south of the Stateline Speedway for an Unknown Injury Rollover Crash. The RP advised the vehicle rolled 6 times and was out in a field smoking. The single male occupant had minor injuries on scene; and was checked out by medical on scene. He refused medical attention. During the investigation, the Deputies noted some of male’s statements did not make sense, and additionally certain portions of the story changed during the course of the conversation. After further questioning, the male admitted to driven recklessly on purpose in an effort to try and kill himself. He was taken to KH on an Involuntary Hold. 20-50039

• Deputies responded to S. Watson Rd. for a reported Suicidal Subject. On scene they contacted a male who advised he was not suicidal but was unhappy due to being 52 years old and still living at home with his parents. 20-50040

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to The Holiday Inn attached to Triple Play. A male was reportedly coming in and out of the building numerous times. Deputies searched the area and could not locate the male. 20-50066

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle in the Kon Tiki parking lot. The driver was cited and released for driving without privileges. 20-50069
