Notable calls for the day!

11-17-2020

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to FSR 202 3 miles from Marie Creek regarding a vehicle down an embankment. Upon his arrival he learned the driver had slide off the road due to the icy conditions and hit a tree.

• Deputies responded to E. Trinity Ln regarding a trespassing/Unwanted. The R/P called in and advised he had chased off a young female who was roaming around on his property. Deputies located the female who ended up being trespassed from the property however the property owner of another residence provided a courtesy transport to Alter church.

• A Deputy responded E. Falcon Crest regarding a vehicle theft. Upon his arrival he learned an unknown person stole a 2005 ford F350 with a welder in the back. 20-49647

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy contacted an R/P in regards to a possible vehicle theft. After a long conversation it was determined his daughter’s boyfriend had been using the vehicle without the owner’s consent and had not actually stolen the vehicle. The boyfriend has been allowed to use the vehicle regularly since June (and possibly assisted with payments), and after an argument he left in said vehicle. 20-49688

• Deputies responded to E. Hudlow Rd. in regards to a family dispute. Upon arrival it was learned that parents were attempting to discipline their 15 year old daughter for not doing her chores. As part of the discipline, they attempted to take her phone from her and she resisted. The juvenile was able to maintain possession of the phone and called 911. • Deputies spoke to all parties and the juvenile agreed to do her chores and also gave the phone to her parents. 20-49683

• A Deputy contacted an R/P in regards to a possible theft that occurred at on W. Hilgren Ave. According to the R/P, the residence was a group home and she moved out in August. She was given permission to store items at the residence and she has since discovered some to be missing. She believes someone in the residence pawned some of her possessions. 20-49677

• A Deputy investigated a mail theft that occurred on W. Riverview Dr. According to the victim, between 11/15/20 and the afternoon of 11/17/20 an unknown person stole mail from his mailbox. The suspect opened a package and stole the items inside but left the package behind. A report was completed and extra patrols were conducted throughout the shift. 20-49666

• A Deputy responded to W Shalecrest Rd in regards to a suspicious vehicle being seen parked in front of a construction site. The vehicle left prior to Deputy’s arrival, but extra patrol was conducted. Nothing suspicious was seen in the area of the construction site. 20-49691

• A Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hwy 95 and Fairmont Loop. After contacting the driver the Deputies K9 partner alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search was completed and methamphetamine and heroin was located. The male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and trafficking heroin (7+ grams). 20-49693

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to W. Seltice Way (A-1 Smoke Shop) in regards to a disorderly. An R/P called Central Dispatch to report that her cousin was "super intoxicated" and being disorderly. He was contacted and was not as “intoxicated” as his cousin made him seem. The male played the deputies some "Johnny Cash" on his guitar and promised not to cause any further issues (which he kept). 20-49710

• A Deputy checked out with a suspicious vehicle in the area of Huetter and Harvest. Upon contact with the male driver, the Deputy observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. Ultimately the driver was charged for possession of methamphetamine and he was cited and released for possession of paraphernalia. 20-49736
