SHERIFF: Whoa there, hoss

Y’all hear that? Thar’s a new sheriff in town. You know his name. It’s been impossible to miss, every day for what seems years.

What an enlightening LTE (Oct. 6) Sheriff Bob. You state that your most important issue and driving cause for election is solving KootCo’s “irresponsible” growth. As a 65-year resident, I am always amused by the people who move here and say that. Dude, you were part of that problem when you moved here.

You were elected Sheriff, not County Commissioner. A Sheriff’s job is fighting crime. Your letter didn’t address that topic. But hooray, you’re protecting the Second Amendment. What’s your plan for protecting the people of your new domain?
