Donald J. Keane, 94, of Coeur d'Alene, died Oct. 2, 2020.
He was born July 31, 1926, to John and Catherine (Murphy) Keane at their home in Rockland, Mass.
After serving in World War II, Don met Charlotte Tanner; they married on Sept. 14, 1947.
The couple moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1953 with their two young daughters. The family added another daughter and three sons here.
Don was an avid runner and swimmer, and enjoyed canoeing with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Pat and Donna; and sons Jack, Tim and Willy.
Don was preceded in death by daughter, Kathie.
