Innovation Collective hosting special Veterans Day event

To honor America's veterans, Innovation Collective is celebrating Veterans Day with a special Fireside Chat.

Local entrepreneur and veteran Thomas Tedder, owner of Alien Gear Holsters and Tedder Industries, will speak in the Innovation Den at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

"He has had an immense effect on our local community, and continues to make it stronger," Innovation Collective stated in a Friday news release.

Tedder will tell his story about being a veteran, starting and building a multi-million dollar company and learning to lead in the private sector.

"We all need to hear inspiring stories that drive us to build on our dreams, and on Veterans Day, hearing from an entrepreneur/veteran seems like a great idea," Innovation Collective CEO and founder Nick Smoot said.

Innovation Collective will be providing complimentary beer, soda and water and reserving front row seats for veterans.

The Innovation Den is at 418 E. Lakeside Ave. in Coeur d'Alene. The free, in-person event is limited to 50 people but it will also be held on Zoom.
