Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to W. St. Emillion Dr. for a report of an unconscious 4 month old baby. Deputies were the first to arrive and found the mother in the main part of the house. The baby was down the hall in a room, still unresponsive. The Deputy flipped the baby over (face down) and used his palm to thrust on the back of the baby several times, which caused the baby to eject liquid from his mouth and start breathing. The baby was transported to Sacred Heart via Life Flight and his status was improving. An investigation was completed and at this time it does not appear to be suspicious in nature. 20-47711

• A Deputy handled a hit and run crash at E. French Gulch Rd. where the RP's truck was hit by an unknown vehicle in the last 12 hours or so. There was no paint transfer so there is no lead information. 20-47725

• Deputies and medical responded to Ramsey Rd. and Prairie Ave. for a roll-over vehicle crash. 20-47743

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• SIU Detectives stopped and arrested a female on her warrants for Reckless Driving and False Info to Law Enforcement. She was also cited for possession of paraphernalia (methamphetamine pipe) and DWP. 20-47749 and 20-47765

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle on Hwy 53 X 3rd St. in Athol. He subsequently arrested the male for poss. of meth/poss. of para. 20-47805

• A Deputy was on his way to work and stopped a vehicle near Hwy 54 X N. Caravelle Rd. The Deputy ended up charging the driver for DUI. 20-47817

• A Deputy responded to the CDA Casino reference a reported Drugs call in which Security observed a female drop a bag on the floor containing a "crystalline substance". Security traced the female to the bag and called the KCSO. The Deputy arrested the female for possession of meth. 20-47819

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to Painters Loop for a domestic between a male and female. Upon arrival, deputies heard the battery occurring inside the residence. After contacting the parties involved, deputies learned that male was grabbing the female and holding her in a corner against her will. The male was arrested for Domestic Battery in the Presence of their child in common and served a Felony agents arrest warrant. 20-47848.
