Brittany Rose Hasty, 29

On Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, Brittany Rose Hasty, loving mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away at the age of 29.

Brittany was born on May 9, 1991, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Jayme Sommer and Todd Hasty. She graduated from Post Falls High School in 2009. She pursued massage school and had a love for making coffee; she worked as a barista for many years. On Sept. 30, 2013, she gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Kyra Rose Boland.

Brittany had a passion for music and art. She was always dancing and loved experiencing live music. One of Brittany’s favorite things to do was be in nature and go hiking. Everyone knew Brittany for her big beautiful blue eyes and will always remember her bright smile and contagious laughter. Brittany loved to celebrate life and always lived in the moment.

Brittany was preceded in death by her grandpa, Walter, and uncle, Quinton. She is survived by her mother, Jayme; father, Todd; daughter, Kyra Rose; sister, Tasha; brother in-law, Cody; and their two sons, Cody Jr. and Colton; grandmothers, Carol and Alma; Ben, Kyra’s father; Nichole and Josh, Kyra’s aunt and uncle; Harper and Hadley, Kyra’s cousins; her dearest friends, Katy and Kristy; as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held for Brittany from 5-8 p.m. on Nov. 9, 2020, at Vanhoff’s Garden Center, 1844 N. Government Way, in Coeur d’Alene.
