Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to W. Reeves St regarding an unattended death. An elderly female was found deceased in her residence. There was nothing suspicious located at the scene. 20-47522

• Deputies responded to a suicide threat W. Judy K Dr. Upon their arrival they learned juvenile male had made suicidal statements. The male was transported to Kootenai Health where the parents placed him on a PC Hold 20-47519

• Deputies responded to W. Onyx and Club House Dr. for a non-injury commercial vehicle rollover crash. Deputies completed an investigation and crash report. 20-47523

• Deputies responded S. Dusty Ln for a suicide threat. Upon their arrival they learned the male was not suicidal threat and did not want to harm himself. 20-47550

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to JDC after a juvenile female arrived to turn herself in on her warrant. She was booked without incident. 20-47607

• A Deputy responded to E Shiras Rd for a report of an overdose. On scene he contacted female who was located by her husband upon his return from work, in their bedroom highly intoxicated and vomiting. It was determined that she unintentionally consumed alcohol with her prescription medication, and had an adverse reaction. She was ultimately deemed fine by medical and was not transported to KH. An FI was completed. 20-47621

• A Deputy took a call for service regarding a missing female being located at the CDA Casino. He spoke to female on the phone who advised she was fine, and only wanted to be left alone while she sorted her life out. 20-47562

• A Deputy stopped a car at Hayden and Ramsey. During the contact he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. At the conclusion of the investigation, the driver was charged for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, minor in possession of alcohol, failure to purchase a driver's license, and failure to purchase insurance. 20-47637

• Deputies responded to N Day Lane for an intoxicated female that was standing on the RP's front porch. On scene they contacted a female who was highly intoxicated and could not remember how she got the location. She claimed to have not been drinking, despite providing a BrAC sample of .233, and claimed to have been chased and drugged. However, she could not provide any information more than seeing a vehicle drive by. She was taken to her sister's residence in Coeur d'Alene and advised to call the KCSO if she can recall anything of note from the night. An FI was completed. 20-47641

• Bonner County Sherriff's Office called to request assistance with a pursuit that was headed to Kootenai County. Several Deputies responded to the county line to set up spike strips and block intersections. As the vehicle approached the county line, it went into the northbound lanes traveling southbound in an attempt to avoid spikes set up by ISP. It avoided KCSO spike strips and a Deputy fell into the pursuit. He took lead on the pursuit and initiated a SUCCESSFUL PIT. The driver gave up after he saw K9 Dino. It was soon learned that Morley had gone on a crime spree in Bonner County. The car he was stopped in was not his first stolen vehicle of the night. He had also burglarized multiple cars at Walmart in Ponderay, and burglarized multiple businesses in the area. 20-47645

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to West Grayeagle Road regarding a suspicious vehicle. Upon their arrival they contacted a 19 year old male who was in the area. During the investigation it was discovered he had come to the area to meet a female (15 yoa). The two had engaged in sexual activity and the male was arrested for L&L.

While on scene the above mentioned call it was discovered the female’s mother had an active Kootenai County warrant. Due to call load Spirit Lake Police was on scene and took the female into custody.

• Deputies responded to South Candlelight Drive regarding an alarm. The owner of the residence stated she was sleeping in the upstairs bedroom when the downstairs alarm activated. Once on scene the house was cleared by Deputies and nothing suspicious was located.
