Team Dirtastic women win 25-hour motorcycle race

This race began at 10 a.m. Halloween night and ended Sunday morning at 10 a.m. Since Daylight Saving Time happened during that time, an extra hour was added to the race. Each rider could do up to two laps at a time, then come into the pits to switch riders. The course was 15 miles long, consisting of rough, choppy terrain with rocks and grassy sections. From left are Courtney Croewer (Bend, Ore.), Ashlee Gage (Shoshone, Idaho), Kalyn Benaroya (Hood River, Ore.), Jamey Parks (Coeur d'Alene) and Courtney Feldt (Whitefish, Mont.). "We couldn't have done it without our pit crew — Kristi Colacurcio, Jackson Carpenter, Jake Gage, Pat Benaroya and Chuck Sun," Parks said.
